Pioneering Direct-to-Mobile 5G Broadcasting Solutions

X1 MOBILE - THE TELECOM/CORE/RECEIVER SIDE OF 5G BROADCAST

5G Broadcast broadcasts on traditional broadcast television frequencies, not cell frequencies. However, 5G Broadcast does receive its broadcast signal on the 5G chip in a smartphone or CPE. The broadcast frequencies need to be enabled on the chip which is set to roll out in 2026.

The 5G Broadcast core speaks to 5G Cell cores to exchange information and deliver content (video, audio, or data) to the broadcast facilities for distribution.

A simple, easy upgrade to meet today’s changing world.

5G Broadcasting 101

5G Broadcast (5GB) is a highly efficient protocol enabling direct-to-mobile (D2M) content delivery. Unlike the one-to-one unicast method, 5GB uses a one-to-many approach, similar to traditional broadcasting, sending a single signal to a broad area. This significantly improves efficiency and frees network resources, ensuring high-quality content delivery to large audiences without straining bandwidth.
